Work alongside internal and external stakeholders to ensure implementation in new HRIS module (SAP) is accurate. This includes accurate health plan set-up, insurance deductions employer/employee, and benefits platform and respective documents.
- Assist in the administration of various employee benefits for multiple states to include group health, dental, vision, FSA, HSA , supplemental coverage and wellness benefits.
- Assist in the day to day administration of the employee wellness plan and related events.

Prepare and maintain, bi-weekly employee reports, new hire and termination to ensure HRIS system is accurate.
- Ensure that appropriate legal notices are provided to staff in a timely manner.

Assist and compile research for employee benefits plans and vendors to identify those that present the best value.

Assist in preparing benefits surveys and review information obtained from the results to ensure competitive trends in benefits programs are being offered as part of employee total rewards.
- Serve as back-up contact for plan vendors and third-party administrators.

Run reports to ensure compliance with applicable government regulations. Coordinate transfer of data to external contacts for services, premiums and plan administration.
- Assist with employee enrollments, COBRA, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, disability, accident and death claims. Consult with benefits specialist on approval of FMLA/ leave administration, ADA, disability, 401(k), rollovers, QDROs, QMCSOs, distributions, loans, hardships and compliance testing.
- Assist in the maintenance of employee benefits files and group benefits database and ensure logging of collections/credit related to benefits.

Gather employee data to ensure accurate processing of monthly billings and the preparation of vouchers for payment of administrative fees for all group plans.

Provide customer service support to internal and external customers. Coordinates with insurance and benefits providers resolve employee insurance issues.

Distribute materials for benefits orientations, open enrollment, and summary plan descriptions. Provide training and support to benefits specialist group benefits associates, home office associates and the field staff.

Assist in annual open enrollment period of each year: materials from carriers, communicating changes to employees/answering questions, assists with employee presentations. Review and follow-up on employee OE changes Review payroll register to ensure employee benefits changes transferred over after enrollment is closed.

Participation in project management and ability to prioritize related initiatives in competitive deadlines.

Assist in the resolution of administrator problems with carrier representative

Two to fours years of related benefits or employee benefits administration experience.

Strong knowledge of employee benefits and applicable federal and state laws.

Excellent organization and time management skills
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.

Any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described including related work experience.
- Bachelor's degree in human resource management or related field.
- SHRM-CP, PHR, Sand/or CEBS professional designations preferred.

Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.

Working knowledge with PAYCOM HRIS.
