Job Location – Worldwide Golf Headquarters in Santa Ana, CA (fully onsite position)
The primary purpose of the Benefits & Payroll Administrator is to lead all health and benefit programs, and payroll related functions for the company. The ideal candidate must have a broad knowledge of benefit plan offerings, payroll laws and to be able to work efficiently to ensure the completeness and timeliness of assigned projects.
Essential Functions:
  • Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Conducts audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.
  • Responds to 401(k) inquiries from managers and employees relating to enrollments, plan changes and contribution amounts.
  • Creates and administers benefit repayment plans
  • Communicates interdepartmentally to ensure proper processing of benefit billing.
  • Leads the open enrollment process.
  • Assist with payroll process as needed to ensure efficient and accurate processing.
  • Assists with processing of termination by calculating and creating final checks
  • Assists with FMLA and Workers Comp cases.
  • Assisting with providing research for policies, training, strategic planning, and other human resource issues.
  • Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
Desired Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in benefits administration is required; 1+ years of payroll experience preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with self-funding medical plans
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Experience with mainstream HRIS programs required (Paycom experience is a plus)
  • Knowledge of Canadian benefits helpful, but not required.
  • Retail industry experience and/or knowledge of retail operations preferred but not required

  • The pay range for this position is $50,000 - $90,000 per year. Individual starting rate within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
