Job Location – Worldwide Golf Headquarters in Santa Ana, CA (fully onsite position)
The primary purpose of the Benefits & Payroll Administrator is to lead all health and benefit programs, and payroll related functions for the company. The ideal candidate must have a broad knowledge of benefit plan offerings, payroll laws and to be able to work efficiently to ensure the completeness and timeliness of assigned projects.
Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
Conducts audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.
Responds to 401(k) inquiries from managers and employees relating to enrollments, plan changes and contribution amounts.
Creates and administers benefit repayment plans
Communicates interdepartmentally to ensure proper processing of benefit billing.
Leads the open enrollment process.
Assist with payroll process as needed to ensure efficient and accurate processing.
Assists with processing of termination by calculating and creating final checks
Assists with FMLA and Workers Comp cases.
Assisting with providing research for policies, training, strategic planning, and other human resource issues.
Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
3+ years of experience in benefits administration is required; 1+ years of payroll experience preferred
Knowledge and experience with self-funding medical plans
Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Experience with mainstream HRIS programs required (Paycom experience is a plus)
Knowledge of Canadian benefits helpful, but not required.
Retail industry experience and/or knowledge of retail operations preferred but not required
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work with a diverse group of people.
Consistency in meeting deadlines.
Good organization skills required.

- The pay range for this position is $50,000 - $90,000 per year. Individual starting rate within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
