BI Architect

Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Power BI Architect to design, build, and optimize enterprise-grade BI solutions. The role requires close collaboration with ML and GenAI teams to transform advanced analytics into impactful, business-ready dashboards and insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement end-to-end BI solutions using Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and performance tuning.

• Collaborate with ML/GenAI teams to integrate predictive, prescriptive, and generative insights into business dashboards.

• Design scalable data models and semantic layers for self-service analytics.

• Implement row-level security, governance, and compliance frameworks within Power BI.

• Work with Azure Data Services (Data Lake, Synapse, Fabric) or equivalent platforms to enable robust data pipelines.

• Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable BI solutions.

• Mentor analysts and developers on best practices in Power BI, DAX, and visualization standards.

Required Skills

• Experience: 10+ Years in Data & BI (with strong Power BI expertise)

• Expert-level proficiency in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, Tabular models.

• Strong experience in data modeling, performance optimization, and visualization best practices.

• Hands-on expertise with Azure Data Platform (Data Lake, Synapse, Fabric) or similar.

• Familiarity with ML/AI model outputs and embedding them into BI solutions.

• Strong SQL skills and knowledge of ETL/ELT design patterns.

• Experience implementing governance, security, and enterprise BI frameworks.

Good to Have

• Exposure to Python/R for data wrangling and ML model consumption.

• Understanding of MLOps / AI Ops for model-to-dashboard integration.

• Knowledge of GenAI tools (Azure OpenAI, LangChain, Copilot integrations) for BI augmentation.
