Responsibilities:
Bike Mechanic- 2 Wheeler
- Performing routine maintenance tasks on bicycles, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting parts.
- Repairing or replacing broken or worn-out components, such as brakes, gears, tires, and chains.
- Troubleshooting problems and making necessary repairs.
- Identifying issues with a bike's performance and recommending suitable fixes.
- Completing build projects on new bikes, including assembling and installing parts.
- Assisting customers with selecting the right accessories and components for their bikes.
- Maintaining accurate records of all work done on bicycles.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a bike mechanic or equivalent technical experience.
- A high level of knowledge regarding bicycle components, repair processes, and safety standards.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers.
- Familiarity with basic computer programs, such as Microsoft Office or Google Docs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
The Bike Mechanic job may require individuals to be able to perform the following:
- Ability to stand, walk and/or bike for extended periods of time.
- Lift and carry heavy items up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Bend, twist, and reach in order to access and work on bike components.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment that requires manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
