Bilingual Church Based Daycare Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. The ideal candidate will have experience in early childhood education and a passion for fostering children's development. This role involves caring for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, while promoting their physical, emotional, and social growth.

Duties

• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
• Implement daily routines that include meals, naps, playtime, and educational activities.
• Provide care for infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive behavior management techniques.
• Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment that is conducive to learning.
• Plan and execute educational activities that align with childhood development milestones.
• Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual requirements.
• Teach in Sunday School.
• Document children's progress and maintain records as needed.
• Qualifications
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is essential.
• First aid certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
• Experience with behavior management strategies to support positive interactions among children.
• Background in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to various age groups.
• Familiarity with classroom management techniques to maintain a productive learning environment.
