About the Role

We are a busy General Surgery practice dedicated to providing high-quality care to our diverse community. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Bilingual Medical Scribe to join our team. This is a dual-impact role where you will act as the surgeon's "right hand," documenting clinical encounters in real-time while ensuring our Spanish-speaking patients feel heard, understood, and supported.

Key Responsibilities

• Medical Documentation: Accompany the surgeon during patient visits to capture history, physical exams, and treatment plans directly into the EMR.
• Translation Services: Provide accurate, real-time Spanish-to-English and English-to-Spanish translation for patients during consultations and procedures.
• Clinical Support: Help prepare charts and ensure all necessary patient data is ready for the surgeon’s review.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish and English is required (Verbal and Written).
• Strong understanding of medical terminology (or a quick learner).
• Exceptional typing speed and accuracy.
• Professional demeanor and a high level of empathy for patient care.
• Previous experience as a scribe or in a medical setting is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
