Billing and Collections Specialist (Construction)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Billing & Collections Specialist to join our team. This full-time role focuses on managing billing operations and collections with accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and able to handle financial processing while maintaining positive interactions with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Calculate and process bills accurately and in a timely manner.
• Create invoices and ensure correct billing documentation.
• Follow up on past-due accounts, maintaining professional communication.
• Process monthly billing applications and maintain financial records.
• Answer phone calls, assist clients with billing inquiries, and provide excellent customer service.
• File and organize paperwork efficiently.
• Perform miscellaneous administrative tasks as needed to support office operations.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in billing, invoicing, or collections preferred.
• Strong organizational and numerical skills.
• Proficiency in relevant computer applications for billing and financial processing.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain professionalism in customer interactions.
• Positive, team-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Experience in a construction environment also preferred.

Schedule & Work Environment:

• Monday to Friday, with flexible hours: 7 AM - 4 PM or 8 AM - 5 PM.
• Year-round stable work in a professional yet casual office setting.
