The QS/Billing Engineer will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost estimation, quantity take-offs, billing, and project cost control. The role involves ensuring accurate measurement and valuation of work done, preparing client and subcontractor bills, and supporting the project team in maintaining financial efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and verify client bills, RA bills, and subcontractor bills as per the approved drawings and BOQ.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Ensure accurate measurement of works executed on-site and maintain proper records.
- Monitor project progress and prepare monthly billing reports and cash flow projections.
- Coordinate with site engineers, procurement, and planning teams to validate work quantities and rates.
- Assist in rate analysis, tendering, and cost forecasting activities.
- Prepare and maintain BOQs, cost statements, and variation claims.
- Verify subcontractor claims and ensure compliance with contract terms.
- Support project cost control by identifying potential cost overruns and recommending corrective actions.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and auditors for billing certification and documentation.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- 2–6 years of experience as a QS/Billing Engineer in civil or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC, CPWD), BOQ preparation, and rate analysis.
- Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity estimation software (e.g., Candy, Excel-based tools, or Revit).
- Good analytical, numerical, and documentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
