Role Overview
The Tender Filing Engineer will be responsible for end-to-end preparation, compilation, and submission of tenders, bids, and proposals for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) civil projects across Government, Semi-Government bodies, Public Sector Units (PSUs), Airport Authority of India, Indian Railways, NHAI, and private sector clients.
This role involves managing tender submissions through all major e-procurement platforms such as E-Procurement portals, GeM Portal, IREPS, and other state/central portals. The position requires close coordination with engineering, procurement, estimation, contracts, and finance teams to ensure timely, accurate, and fully compliant tender submissions in line with client requirements and statutory norms.
Key Responsibilities
Tender Preparation & Filing
- Review tender documents (RFPs, RFQs, BOQs, drawings, technical specifications, terms & conditions) in detail.
- Ensure full compliance with tender eligibility requirements, formats, and submission protocols.
- Prepare and compile Pre-Qualification (PQ) documents, technical bids, and commercial proposals.
- Manage tender documentation (soft & hard copies), indexing, filing, and archiving for seamless retrieval.
- Coordinate with respective departments to collect inputs and finalize tender files within deadlines.
- Track upcoming tenders, evaluate relevance, and ensure timely participation.
Coordination & Liaison
- Collaborate with estimation, design, procurement, and project teams for technical and financial inputs.
- Liaise with consultants, clients, and vendors to resolve queries and gather supporting documents.
- Follow up with internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of bid submissions.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain an updated database of licenses, registrations, certifications, financials, and company credentials.
- Monitor and incorporate amendments, corrigenda, and addendums during the tendering process.
- Ensure strict adherence to contractual, statutory, and legal compliance requirements.
Reporting & Support
- Prepare tender status reports, MIS trackers, and bid submission schedules.
- Provide inputs to management for bid/no-bid decisions based on analysis of risks and eligibility.
- Support post-tender processes including clarifications, negotiations, and contract documentation.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of EPC tendering processes for civil infrastructure projects.
- Ability to interpret BOQs, contract conditions, technical drawings, and project specifications.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), document management systems, and e-tendering portals (GeM, CPPP, IREPS, etc.).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with ability to handle multiple tenders simultaneously.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality in documentation.
- Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management. Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of experience in tendering, bid management, or documentation in a Civil/ EPC / construction / infrastructure company.
- Experience with government e-tendering portals and online bid submission (GeM, CPPP, State portals, etc.) preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
