About Us: We are an established Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) provider dedicated to delivering high-quality, ethical services to individuals with autism and related developmental disabilities. We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Billing Specialist to support our administrative and financial operations.

Pay Range: Competitive.

Position Summary:
The ABA Billing Specialist is responsible for managing insurance billing, claims submission, payment posting, and follow-up to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement for ABA services. This role plays a critical part in maintaining financial health and supporting our clinical team. This is a full-time, in-person position based in our Palm City office.

Key Responsibilities:

Submit and manage insurance claims for ABA services (CPT, ICD-10, and modifiers).
Verify client insurance benefits and authorizations.
Track, post, and reconcile insurance payments and denials.
Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resolve billing discrepancies.
Maintain accurate billing records in EMR and billing systems.
Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff regarding documentation and billing requirements.
Ensure compliance with payer requirements and ABA billing standards.
Assist with audits, reports, and billing inquiries as needed.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in medical or behavioral health billing required.
ABA billing experience strongly preferred.
Knowledge of CPT codes, modifiers, and insurance regulations.
Familiarity with Medicaid and commercial insurance plans.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage deadlines and multiple tasks.
Proficiency with billing software and EMR systems.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
