Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated BIM Engineer - Structure to join our structural department in the Cairo office. The successful candidate will work closely with the entire structural team, leveraging their design experience to support projects as needed. The primary focus of this role is on BIM modeling, coordination, and drawing production. A background as a structural engineer is highly valued, as it enables a deeper understanding of design intent, detailing, and the effective integration of structural elements with other building systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and maintain structural BIM models for a variety of building and infrastructure projects.
• Produce accurate and detailed structural drawings and construction documents directly from the BIM model.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architecture, MEP, and civil, to ensure a clash-free and integrated design.
• Support the structural design team with design tasks and calculations as required.
• Ensure that all BIM models and drawings comply with project-specific requirements and company standards.
• Conduct quality control checks on BIM models to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards.
• Assist in the development and implementation of BIM standards and workflows within the structural department.
• Stay current with the latest BIM technologies, software, and industry best practices.

• 
  Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering from an accredited university.
• Proven experience (3 to 8 years) in structural BIM modeling and detailing for large-scale projects.
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Tekla Structures, or similar.
• Experience with structural analysis and design software (e.g., ETABS, SAFE, SAP) is a strong advantage.
• Solid understanding of structural engineering principles, building codes, and construction detailing.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, multi-office environment.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage
