Structural Design Assistant Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Review and check structural design packages, schematics, and detailed drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to design codes and project requirements.
• Ensure structural designs meet all applicable local standards, including design criteria specific to real estate projects.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams—including architects, MEP engineers, and project managers—to resolve design issues and ensure cohesive project delivery.
• Support in managing design consultants and external engineering teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet project timelines.
• Participate in technical discussions, value engineering, and risk assessments.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to verify construction works conform to approved structural designs and specifications.
• Assist in developing and maintaining design documentation, technical reports, and structural calculations.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering.
• 6–7 years of experience in structural design and engineering, with a background in a consultancy firm or real estate development company.
• Strong knowledge of structural systems for concrete and steel structures.
• Experience with structural analysis and design software (e.g., ETABS, SAFE, SAP, AutoCAD, Revit).
• Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
• Experience with real estate projects (e.g., residential, commercial, mixed-use developments) is a strong advantage.
• Excellent command of English—both written and writing
