Bookkeeper – Office Operations & Payroll

Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Bookkeeper to oversee daily financial operations and support the smooth functioning of our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational and communication skills, along with a strong background in bookkeeping, payroll processing, budgeting, and Excel-based reporting.

This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing payroll activities, and supporting budgeting and financial tracking processes.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records through bookkeeping and reconciliation activities
  • Process payroll accurately and on schedule, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
  • Manage budgeting activities and assist with financial planning and expense tracking
  • Utilize QuickBooks for financial tracking, reporting, and account management
  • Prepare financial reports and summaries as needed
  • Maintain organized records and documentation for audits and internal review
  • Collaborate with management to support operational and financial efficiency

Qualifications .

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven experience in bookkeeping, payroll processing, and budgeting
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and other relevant accounting or office software
  • Familiarity with medical office management is a plus
  • High level of accuracy, discretion, and attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
