Essential Functions:

We are seeking a self-motivated, goal-oriented individual to assist with day-to-day operations. Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of the accounting transactions of all entities under Palmieri Enterprise. Affiliated companies include Dino Palmieri Salon & Spa, Palmieri Builders, several real estate and land development entities.

• Responsible for the oversight of all daily, weekly and monthly accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and deposits, credit card processing, and invoices.
  
• Banking, processing bank deposits, reconciling bank statements.
• Reconciliation and coordination of vendor contract activities. Knowledge of construction accounting (preferred) and familiarity with bank draws and preparation of lien waivers.
• Billing and oversight on real estate entities, includes monthly tenant billings and annual CAM reconciliation.
• Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assistance with preparation and coordination of required information to external CPA firm for annual tax return preparation.
• Responsible for disbursement of required semi-annual tax payments for real estate entities, quarterly CAT return filings, and monthly sales tax reports.
• Issue annual 1099s and gather W9 data and oversee independent contractors.
• Assisting with month end and year-end financial statement preparation. Perform account reconciliations and other ad hoc analysis.

Education/ Experience:

• Bookkeeping, 3 years (Preferred).
• Experience with QuickBooks (Preferred).
• High School diploma or equivalent (Required).
• Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance (Preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented, ability to show initiative and take responsibility.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word).
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
• Working knowledge of office systems and equipment.
