Job Overview

Bill Bowers A/C & Heating and Suncoast Mini Split Specialists are growing HVAC and home service companies in West Central Florida. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist to manage our day-to-day financial operations and support company growth.

This is a key role within the company, responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing payroll, and ensuring leadership has clean, timely financial data.

Responsibilities

• Manage QuickBooks Online (data entry, reconciliations, journal entries)
• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Process payroll accurately and on time
• Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
• Maintain accurate job costing and financial records
• Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Track expenses, vendor payments, and financial transactions
• Assist with budgeting and reporting
• Maintain organized financial documentation and records

Qualifications

• 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Strong experience with:
• QuickBooks Online
• Microsoft Excel
• Experience processing payroll
• Solid understanding of financial reports and basic accounting principles
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

• This is a full-time, in-office position. Business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
