We are a growing construction company based on Cape Cod seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Office Assistant to support daily operations.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys organization, and can handle both financial and administrative responsibilities.
Responsibilities Include
Bookkeeping:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Process invoices, payments, and deposits
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with payroll processing
- Work with accounting software (QuickBooks or similar)
Office/Admin Support:
- Answer phones and respond to emails
- Schedule appointments and coordinate jobs
- Maintain job files and documentation
- Assist with estimates, proposals, and contracts
- Order office supplies and manage inventory
- Support project managers with administrative tasks
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of bookkeeping or office admin experience
- Experience with QuickBooks (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in construction industry (preferred but not required)
