Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant to join our team! We manufacture and supply tropical fish and pet stores with our dry and frozen tropical fish foods. Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks, including data entry, invoicing, expense tracking, and bank reconciliations
- Handle front desk duties such answering multi-line phone systems, and directing calls with professional phone etiquette
- Support office management by organizing files
- Assist with clerical tasks such as proofreading documents, data entry and filing
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to orders, shipping dates, vendor orders and supporting customers as needed
- Perform general administrative duties including proofing correspondence, and supporting personal assistant tasks as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience with bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks and strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace tools
- Previous office experience in administrative or clerical roles with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Typing skills with proficiency in data entry and document proofreading
- Knowledge of office management procedures, filing systems, and time management techniques
- Customer service experience with a friendly demeanor and effective communication skills
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
