Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant to join our team! Duties

  • Manage accounts receivable and payable using QuickBooks or similar accounting software, ensuring accurate data entry and timely processing of transactions
  • Handle front desk responsibilities, greeting visitors, answering multi-line phone systems, and providing friendly customer support
  • Maintain organized filing systems, both physical and digital, including document proofreading and data entry
  • Support office management tasks such as calendar management, appointment scheduling, and coordinating meetings
  • Assist with clerical duties like photocopying, faxing, mailing, and updating office records using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries professionally via phone or in person while maintaining proper phone etiquette
  • Support bookkeeping activities related to payroll, invoicing, and financial reporting to ensure accurate record keeping

Requirements

  • Proven office experience with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and general computer literacy
  • Previous clerical or administrative experience with data entry, filing, proofreading, and document management
  • Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clients
  • Experience in customer service roles such as dental or medical receptionist roles is highly desirable
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of office management procedures including calendar management and phone etiquette

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
