Bookkeeper & Payroll

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS, & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 21 years of age or older and be able to pass a background check
• Prefer to have 2-5 years of experience
• Strong experience with QuickBooks Online (2+ Years Preferred)
• Strong experience with accounts payable & receivable, general ledger, data input (2+ Years Preferred)
• Ability to run payroll and assist with subsequent tax payments
• Oversee the financial data and run accounting software programs to process and maintain business transactions, like accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, expense vouchers and receipts (potentially for multiple companies)
• Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable law
• Enter key data of financial transactions in database on a daily basis
• Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
• Typing accurately, preparing and maintaining accounting documents and records
• Preparing bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements.
• Keeping financial records updated, preparing reports and reconciling bank statements.
• Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
• Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
• Some knowledge for the cannabis industry
• High school diploma or GED
