Community Concepts, Inc. is currently seeking a Bookkeeper/Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a team member you will be directly responsible for facilitating payroll and general accounting duties as assigned. This position will report directly to the Director of Human Resources.

Skills and Specialized Knowledge:

This professional must have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to exercise good judgment, and handle confidential information. The ideal Bookkeeper/Payroll Specialist will be someone with a broad range of experience and skills including, but not limited to:

  • QuickBooks
  • Payroll processes
  • Accounts payable and receivable

Preferred Bookkeeper/Payroll Specialist skills also include:

  • General HR understanding
  • Medicaid reimbursement and billing

Additional Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have a GED or High School Diploma; Associates and/or Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
  • Must be able to pass background check
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be personable and able to work cooperatively as a team member
  • Must be able to cope with stressful situations in a professional manner

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

  • Payroll: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Accounting: 1 year (Preferred)
  • QuickBooks: 1 year (Preferred)
