Bookkeeper/Accountant

Job Title – US Bookkeeping and Accounting

Location – Viman Nagar, Pune

Key Responsibilities

Client Management & Support

Serve as the primary point of contact for international clients (US, UK, Canada, Australia, etc.).

Resolve client queries on financials, payroll, compliance, and reporting.

Conduct regular client check-ins and build long-term trusted relationships.

Accounting & Bookkeeping

Oversee bookkeeping operations including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll processing, and monthly close.

Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and reports in line with US GAAP/IFRS standards (depending on client geography).

Ensure accurate job costing, profitability tracking, and project-based reporting.

Team Leadership

Manage, mentor, and guide a team of accountants/bookkeepers.

Review their work for accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.

Drive process improvements and ensure high-quality client deliverables.

Problem-Solving & Advisory

Act as the escalation point for complex client questions.

Provide strategic insights to clients (cash flow forecasting, budgeting, tax planning).

Collaborate with internal CFO/advisory teams when needed.

Qualification :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CA/ACCA is a plus).

1-2 years of team leader experience in US accounting/bookkeeping and client-facing leadership role.

Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (US GAAP/IFRS).

Experience working with outsourced accounting/bookkeeping for international clients (preferred).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills (must be fluent in English).

Ability to explain financial concepts in simple, client-friendly language.

Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and time management skills.

Accounting Software

Knowledge of :

QuickBooks Online / QuickBooks Desktop

Xero

Sage / NetSuite (preferred for larger clients)

Payroll Tools (for US & international clients)

Gusto, ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks Payroll

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
