The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing all branch operations, ensuring profitability, customer satisfaction, compliance with company policies, and achievement of sales and operational targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Branch Operations Management
- Supervise daily branch activities to ensure smooth functioning.
- Monitor cash handling, stock management, and operational controls.
- Ensure timely opening and closing of the branch as per policy.
- Maintain proper documentation, reports, and records.
- Sales & Business Development
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Develop strategies to increase walk-in traffic and revenue.
- Supervise and motivate the sales team to perform effectively.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Team Management
- Lead, train, and evaluate branch staff.
- Prepare duty rosters and manage staff attendance and leaves.
- Address employee concerns and maintain discipline at the branch.
- Customer Service
- Ensure excellent customer service and complaint resolution.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements.
- Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and audit requirements.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
- Maintain confidentiality of branch and customer information.
- Safety & Maintenance
- Ensure safety, security, and cleanliness of the branch.
- Report and follow up on maintenance issues promptly.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in branch or operations management (retail / banking / services).
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Target-driven and customer-focused
- Good knowledge of MS Office and reporting tools
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability
