ABOUT THE POSITION

Brand Leadership: Shape and evolve the overall brand identity and voice of FPM, ensuring cohesion across all business entities. Establish and enforce brand guidelines (logos, fonts, colors, imagery, visual systems).

Creative Execution: Design and produce high-quality assets including logos, renderings, presentations, collateral, signage, and digital content. Maintain a strong design portfolio showcasing creativity and attention to detail.

Storytelling: Translate FPM’s mission into compelling brand narratives, campaigns, and experiences that resonate with internal and external audiences.

Digital & Web Presence: Oversee and directly contribute to website design, UX updates, SEO strategy, and digital campaigns. Manage social media, newsletters, and content creation.

Campaigns & Advertising: Lead creative direction for campaigns across print, digital, and experiential channels. Ensure all outputs reflect brand positioning and design standards.

Team & Vendor Oversight: Supervise a Marketing Assistant and third-party vendors. Provide art direction, feedback, and leadership to maintain consistent visual quality.

Events & PR: Support events with branded materials, signage, and promotional campaigns. Manage relationships with press and media to secure coverage.

Performance Tracking: Develop KPIs to evaluate brand impact and campaign ROI, reporting results with recommendations.

Market Awareness: Stay current on design, marketing, and consumer trends to ensure the brand remains fresh and competitive.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:

Periodically travel to off-site properties

Oversee, direct, and manage the Marketing Assistant and third-party vendors

Skim news for media placements and opportunities

Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of market trends and comps to keep marketing efforts relevant and current

Continually review changes to the market, consumer trends and activities of the competitors, and adjust the marketing plan as necessary
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in marketing, communications, graphic design, or related field.

5+ years of branding, design, and marketing experience (real estate or related industries preferred), including at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Portfolio required showcasing strong design work and brand development.

Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, and WordPress. Experience with Figma or Sketch a plus.

Strong grasp of design principles, typography, color, and layout.

Knowledge of online marketing channels, SEO, Google Ads, and analytics.

Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate a brand story clearly.

Demonstrated ability to direct and critique creative work, while also producing it hands-on.
GENERAL INFORMATION
This is a full-time position (Monday – Friday), located at Nova Place on the Northside of Pittsburgh. It is primarily in-office.
