As we continue to grow and expand our reach, we're looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial Brand & Marketing Manager to help us tell our story and connect with even more health-conscious consumers across India.

The Opportunity:

Are you a hands-on, strategic, and creative marketing leader with a passion for wellness and natural products? We're seeking a Brand Manager to not only lead the strategic development and execution of the Toyo Kombucha brand but also to build our entire marketing function from the ground up. This is a unique and thrilling opportunity to define our marketing roadmap, execute early campaigns, and lay the foundation for a scalable marketing department in a rapidly growing healthy beverage category. You'll be instrumental in shaping our brand's voice, driving consumer engagement, and expanding our market presence across India.

What You'll Do:

  • Build the Marketing Function:
  • Be the sole marketing professional initially, responsible for all marketing activities.
  • Define and implement the initial marketing strategy, processes, and tools required to launch and scale our brand.
  • As we grow, identify future marketing talent needs and participate in building out a high-performing marketing team.
  • Brand Strategy & Development:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies that align with Toyo Kombucha's mission, values, and business objectives.
  • Conduct in-depth market research, competitor analysis, and consumer insights to identify trends, opportunities, and unmet needs in the health beverage market.
  • Refine and articulate Toyo Kombucha's unique selling propositions, brand positioning, and target audience segmentation.
  • Brand Identity & Messaging:
  • Establish and ensure consistent application of brand guidelines (visual identity, tone of voice, messaging) across all consumer touchpoints, including packaging, digital assets, and marketing collateral.
  • Craft compelling brand narratives and key messages that resonate with health-conscious consumers, highlighting the benefits of kombucha and our organic ingredients.
  • Work closely with product development to ensure new flavor launches and product innovations align seamlessly with the core brand identity.
  • Integrated Marketing & Content Creation
  • Independently plan, create, execute, and oversee all marketing campaigns across various channels (e.g., social media content, digital ads, influencer marketing, email campaigns, e-commerce promotions, PR outreach, in-store activations).
  • Manage our online presence, including our website, social media profiles, and e-commerce platform listings (Amazon, BigBasket, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, etc.) to optimize product visibility and drive sales.
  • Oversee the development and management of all marketing budgets and resource allocation.
  • Performance Analysis & Growth:
  • Monitor and analyze key brand and marketing performance metrics, including brand awareness, perception, consumer engagement, website traffic, conversion rates, market share, and sales data.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to optimize strategies, campaigns, and marketing spend for maximum ROI.
  • Identify new growth opportunities and collaborate with sales and distribution teams to expand market penetration.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Act as the primary brand and marketing advocate, fostering a strong brand-first mindset across the organization.
  • Work closely with sales, operations, and product development teams to ensure cohesive market strategies and product launches.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies, PR firms, freelancers, and vendors as needed, acting as the primary point of contact.

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience: 3-8+ years of progressive experience in brand management or brand marketing, preferably within the FMCG, food & beverage, healthy snacks, or wellness product industries. Crucially, you must have experience building and executing marketing strategies largely independently or as part of a very lean team.
  • Startup Mindset: You're a self-starter, highly adaptable, comfortable with ambiguity, and thrive in a fast-paced, resource-lean environment where you wear multiple hats.
  • Strategic Acumen: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective brand and marketing strategies that drive business results from scratch.
  • Hands-On Execution: Proven capability to not just strategize but also to personally create content, manage social media, set up digital ads, and oversee day-to-day marketing operations.
  • Consumer Focus: Deep understanding of the Indian consumer market, particularly within the health and wellness segment.
  • Digital Savvy: Strong understanding and practical experience with digital marketing channels, e-commerce dynamics, social media engagement, and analytical tools.
  • Creative Mindset: Excellent storytelling abilities and a keen eye for visual aesthetics to create impactful brand communications.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in analyzing market data, consumer insights, and campaign performance to make informed decisions.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion: A genuine interest in healthy living, natural products, and the kombucha category.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹80,000.00 per month
