What you'll be doing

The Commercial Brand Manager leads the commercial and operational growth of a portfolio of Asian beauty brands across the GCC. Accountable for performance across multiple markets and retail networks, the role drives sell-in, sell-out, and in-store excellence in close partnership with retailers and front-line teams. Success requires deep expertise in Asian beauty, strong commercial instincts, and the ability to scale high-potential brands while maximizing performance of established ones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Go-to-Market strategy: Develop localized, data-backed strategies per brand, aligned with competitive local market dynamics and global brand guidelines
  • Commercial planning: Build and negotiate new business plans, annual commercial terms combined with A&P budget allocations jointly with local teams, key retailers, and brand principals
  • Sales performance: Define and deliver annual sales targets and budgets. Drive sell-in/sell-out performance with clear metrics. Set monthly targets per market and track weekly updates
  • Operational excellence: Monitor and direct daily operations to ensure alignment with sales, margin, and activity goals. Act quickly on performance deviations with corrective actions
  • Success analysis: Monitor commercial KPIs and analyze performance (sales trends, consumer behavior, shopper insights, store traffic, etc.). Prepare reports with sharp insights and actionable plans
  • Marketing execution: Recommend the right marketing mix, coordinate product launches and BTL campaigns, ensuring in-store activations are on track and align with brand owner guidelines.

    What you ll need to succeed

    • 6-8 years of experience in beauty, ideally with exposure to Asian brands
    • Successful track record in scaling brands across multi-channel retail environments including marketplace in the GCC
    • Very strong commercial acumen
    • Deep understanding of retail dynamics, especially within K-beauty / J-beauty / C-beauty
    • Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship-building abilities
    • Agile, data-driven, and capable of thriving in a dynamic environment
    • Entrepreneurial and self-starter mindset
    • Fluency in Korean, Japanese, or Mandarin is a strong plus.
