Brand & Marketing Lead

The Role

The Dungeon is a GCC bodybuilding brand — a gym, a clothing label, and a community rooted in Arabic-inspired streetwear, athletes, and culture. We're hiring a Brand & Content Lead to own how the brand shows up across everything we do — content, campaigns, PR, and brand identity. You'll work directly with the founder, who sets the high-level direction, and you'll be the person who turns that vision into briefs, calendars, campaigns, and consistent brand output. You'll also be the main point of contact for our content agency, freelance videographers, photographers, and PR partners.

How we work

No fixed office hours. Work from anywhere in the UAE. What matters is hitting deadlines, shipping great work, and being available for shoots, meetings, and team check-ins when needed. You'll be expected to come to the gym and shoot locations as required, but the planning, briefing, and coordination work is yours to manage on your own schedule.

What you'll do

Ideation & creative direction

  • Concept campaigns, drops, collaborations, and content themes
  • Translate the brand vision into specific creative directions for shoots, content, and campaigns
  • Provide creative direction to videographers, photographers, and our content agency — on what to shoot, the mood, and the message

Brand identity & guidelines

  • Build and maintain the brand's visual and tone-of-voice guidelines
  • Make sure everything we put out — social, packaging, web, in-store, ads — feels like the same brand
  • Audit existing brand touchpoints and flag inconsistencies

Content planning & social media management

  • Build and run the weekly content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Reels
  • Pitch Reel and short-form video concepts tied to drops, training, athletes, events, and culture
  • Manage day-to-day social output — posting, captions, community engagement
  • Track performance (saves, shares, watch time, conversions) and adjust the plan accordingly

Agency & freelancer management

  • Brief and coordinate freelance videographers, photographers, and our content agency
  • Review their work, give clear feedback, and keep everything on-brand and on-deadline
  • Manage shoot schedules with athletes, influencers, the gym, and production partners

PR & partnerships

  • Manage relationships with PR partners and press
  • Coordinate brand collaborations and bodybuilder partnerships
  • Pitch and place the brand in relevant editorial, podcasts, and community moments

You should have

  • 2–4 years in brand, marketing, content, or creative coordination roles
  • A portfolio of campaigns, content calendars, or brand work you've led or contributed to
  • Strong creative instincts — you can both come up with ideas and direct others to execute them
  • Sharp written communication — your briefs and guidelines should make life easy for the people executing
  • Experience managing freelancers or agencies and holding them to a standard
  • Strong feel for Gulf culture and the bodybuilding/streetwear scene
  • Highly self-managed — this role only works if you can run your own schedule and hit deadlines without being chased
  • Arabic language skills are a strong plus

Nice to have

  • Direct PR or media relations experience
  • Familiarity with CapCut / Premiere / Figma (you won't execute, but you should be able to give clear feedback)
  • Awareness of paid social and performance creative
  • Experience working with athletes, influencers, or talent
