The Sandy Times is a lifestyle, culture, and creative media platform based in Dubai — a community built around stories, people, and ideas that move the region forward. We create long-form journalism, podcasts, art and music events, collaborations with global and regional brands, and experiences that blend media, culture, and performance.

Now we’re expanding — and we’re looking for a key person who can help shape the next chapter of The Sandy Times as both a business and a brand.

Role Overview:

We’re looking for a Brand Partnerships Director based in the UAE — someone who can do more than sell. Someone who understands how to connect creative storytelling with commercial strategy, how to build long-term brand partnerships, and how to turn relationships into real results.

This is a combined role that blends business development, brand management, and partnership sales.

You’ll work directly with the founders and editorial team to bring in strategic collaborations, sponsorships, and event partners across fashion, lifestyle, hospitality, tech, and culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and grow strategic partnerships with brands that align with The Sandy Times ethos.
  • Lead end-to-end sales: identify prospects, pitch concepts, close deals, and manage client relationships.
  • Collaborate with editorial and creative teams to shape partnership ideas, branded content formats, and event integrations.
  • Curate and expand guest lists and partner ecosystems for The Sandy Times events and festivals.
  • Develop business plans and new revenue models across our media, radio, and live platforms.
  • Represent The Sandy Times in key industry networks, events, and brand communities.

You Are:

  • A relationship-builder with an active network in Dubai’s creative, lifestyle, and luxury scene.
  • Confident in business development — from first contact to signed contract.
  • Experienced in brand partnerships, sponsorship sales, or creative agency work (5+ years preferred).
  • Entrepreneurial, resourceful, and emotionally intelligent — you get things done and you do them beautifully.
  • Fluent in culture: you know what’s relevant, who’s shaping trends, and how to connect them.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, hybrid media environment where ideas turn into projects quickly.
