Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all food items are fresh, appealing, and properly presented
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, kitchen, and buffet stations in accordance with food safety standards
• Assist guests with food selections, answer questions about menu items, and accommodate dietary preferences or restrictions
• Monitor food levels throughout service, restocking items as needed to ensure a complete buffet experience
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including processing payments and giving change
• Support catering or banquet events by setting up breakfast displays and assisting with meal service when required
• Uphold excellent phone etiquette when taking reservations or answering guest inquiries

Skills

• Previous kitchen experience or food preparation skills that demonstrate familiarity with handling food safely and efficiently
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members
• Experience operating POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling and order processing
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, dietary accommodations, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work early mornings in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience in hospitality roles such as host/hostess, catering, or serving is highly valued
• Basic cleaning, bussing, and meal preparation skills to ensure a clean and welcoming dining area
