Duties

• Greet guests with a friendly smile and provide attentive service throughout breakfast hours
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct processing
• Assist with food presentation and table setting to enhance the dining experience
• Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales while providing genuine recommendations
• Manage food handling and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations
• Clear tables efficiently, bus tables as needed, and assist with basic food preparation when required
• Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest seating and waitlist efficiently
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas, adhering to sanitation standards in food industry settings
• Support guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly and ensuring overall satisfaction

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Experience in serving, bussing, or hosting roles demonstrates strong guest relations skills
• Culinary experience or kitchen background enhances understanding of food preparation and presentation
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation practices is essential for maintaining high standards
• Strong time management skills are necessary to handle busy breakfast service efficiently
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and inventory management are required
• Previous experience with OpenTable or similar reservation platforms is a plus
