About the Role

Capital Smart City – FDHL, one of Pakistan’s most ambitious smart city developments, is hiring a Building Control Engineer to oversee and manage construction quality, compliance, and structural supervision within our Building Control Department.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in civil and structural works, a keen eye for detail, and the leadership ability to guide teams and ensure that all construction activities meet safety codes, engineering standards, and organizational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and approve architectural and structural plans, design modifications, and site reports.
• Manage and coordinate villa construction, rental operations, and technical documentation.
• Prepare detailedExcel summaries, analytical reports, and progress documentation for management review.
• Provide direction and support to technical teams to ensure on-time project completion.
• Maintain updated records, compliance logs, and building control documentation.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 4–6 years of experience in building control, civil supervision, or construction management.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project reporting tools.
• Strong analytical and documentation abilities.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience in managing teams and overseeing departmental functions.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving capabilities.
