During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job Description

Amaris Consulting is looking for a Business Analyst (UAE) to join our teams in Dubai or Abu Dhabi . In this role, you will work on functional and digital transformation projects across sectors such as banking & financial services, hospitality, public sector, energy, aviation, healthcare, and telecom , aligning business objectives with practical, data‑driven solutions.

🔥 Your Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather, document, and analyse requirements (BRD/FRD, user stories, acceptance criteria).
• Conduct as‑is / to‑be analysis, process mapping ( BPMN/UML ), and gap assessments to identify improvements.
• Analyse data using SQL and (nice to have) Python or R ; prepare insights and dashboards with Power BI/Tableau .
• Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and feasibility studies with cross‑functional teams.
• Translate business needs into functional designs , epics, and backlog items; support product backlog refinement.
• Contribute to test strategy, UAT planning and coordination , defect triage, and sign‑off criteria.
• Support change management (communications, training materials, SOPs) to ensure successful adoption.
• Ensure traceability across requirements, scope, risks, and deliverables using tools such as Jira/Confluence or Azure DevOps .
• Work on‑site with clients across the UAE , ensuring alignment with local regulatory and data‑privacy requirements .

🎯 Your Profile

• 6 to 10 years experience as a Business Analyst in digital/IT or business transformation projects (consulting background is a plus).
• Strong skills in requirements engineering , process design (BPMN/UML), and stakeholder management .
• Hands‑on with SQL and comfortable working with data; exposure to Python/R , Power BI/Tableau is a plus.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall ; experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps , or similar tools.
• Excellent technical writing and documentation skills (BRD, FRD, user stories, use cases, SOPs).
• Academic background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Fluent English is mandatory; Arabic is a strong advantage for client engagement in the UAE.
• Based in Dubai/Abu Dhabi ; mobility to work on client sites across the UAE.
• Position is not open for candidates outside UAE - there is no need to apply, it will automatically be rejected.
