The Business Analyst is a strategic role responsible for leading the development and enhancement of business intelligence tools and reporting integration across the organization. This position partners with business and functional leaders across the Water Group to deliver actionable insights, streamline reporting processes, and ensure data integrity. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, technical proficiency, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. This is a remote US based position reporting directly to the Vice President of Finance, Marmon Water Group.

Collaboration

  • Partner with business leaders, finance, sales, and operations to identify KPI needs and reporting gaps.
  • Provide consultative support for business improvement initiatives through data analysis, dashboard creation, maintenance, and improvements.
  • Facilitate cross-functional discussion to align reporting objectives with business goals.
  • Collaborate with IT and data governance teams to ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards.
  • Deliver user training and technical guidance to ensure effective use of GrowBI tools.
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units to translate analytical insights into actionable strategies.

Analysis

  • Design, build, and maintain business intelligence dashboards using Grow BI.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret business data to support strategic decisions.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify reporting bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability across all reporting platforms.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for GrowBI processes, data sources, and reporting standards.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and generate Dashboards to track progress against business objectives.
  • Evaluate emerging BI technologies and recommend adoption strategies to enhance analytical capabilities.

Processes

  • Troubleshoot and resolve system data issues in collaboration with IT, business leaders, and Epicor support.
  • Continuously enhance dashboard capabilities to meet evolving business requirements.
  • Develop and implement standardized reporting workflows to improve operational efficiency.
  • Establish quality assurance protocols for BI deliverables to ensure reliability and consistency.
  • Support change management efforts related to BI tool adoption and process redesign.

Qualifications, Skills, Competencies

Technical Skills

  • Proven experience with BI software, preferably Grow BI.
  • Strong understanding of data visualization best practices and BI architecture.
  • Ability to use AI tools to build SQL queries (or knowledge of SQL)
  • Familiarity with API integrations between ERP and third-party applications.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, finance, data analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Pay Range:

92,000.00 - 138,000.00
