How will you make an impact in this role?

Our Credit & Collections department is fundamental in that process, encompassing a variety of different teams who strive to ensure that these ideals are constantly upheld.

Our Specialists have skills that include, but are not limited to; recovering overdue balances, enabling further spend, and assisting vulnerable customers, all whilst delivering elite customer service and growing brand loyalty.

This is an excellent development opportunity for a motivated, driven individual. As a Business & MI Analyst, you will be strongly involved in maintaining oversight of key metrics and results, ensuring the quality and focus on reviewing high balances and supporting the Leadership team with all MI requests.



Core Responsibilities


You will be part of a team that delivers world class results, both for Card Members and the business. In your role you will:


- Support the European Leadership team with all aspects of MI

- Work with key Partners to build collaborative relationships

- Maintain key performance reports at both market and team level

- Act as a primary point of contact for data and analysis within European credit operations

- Provide support on projects within Credit operations, sourcing data and helping to measure success by conducting relevant results analysis

- Support reviews of high balance cases for senior leadership

- Provide detailed commentary and analysis on market level results for review by senior leadership

- Completing ad-hoc data requests from leaders


Required Skills


For this role you must have:


- Strong organisation and be proactive in your daily approach to tasks

- Proven time management skills, ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities

- Knowledge of the European consumer credit and collections industry (Required)

- Knowledge of SQL/SAS/Python and using these to query Amex databases such as Cornerstone and IDN/Teradata is essential

- Experience in GSG reporting tools such as ROP & GEM

- Competent in Microsoft Excel with experience in manipulating large amounts of data

- Knowledge of tools used in Credit such as CSP, CAS and Globestar would be advantageous

- Excellent interpersonal, relationship building, presentation and communication skills

- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills

- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment

- Ability to use judgmental decision making to drive customer loyalty and growth for the business.

- Demonstrated ability to deal with difficult situations professionally and think fast
