Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to support category growth through data-driven promotional planning and execution. In this role, you will partner with Category Managers, vendors, and internal teams to build, execute, and optimize promotional strategies that drive measurable business results.

What You’ll Do:

Promotional Strategy & Execution

• Support Category Managers in building and executing promotional plans
• Identify gaps in promotions and partner with vendors to address them
• Ensure promotions align with category goals and business objectives

Vendor Management

• Collaborate with vendors to develop and execute promotional offers
• Analyze deal structures and evaluate financial impact
• Review and approve promotions for assigned vendors
• Help resolve vendor issues and ensure smooth promotion setup

Ad Planning & Events

• Build and support ad features for assigned categories
• Identify gaps in ad coverage and source additional promotions
• Support planning and execution of key promotional events

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Track and report on promotional performance, including:
• Promotional coverage
• Vendor funding vs. ad support
• Category and item performance
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve results

Systems & Collaboration

• Manage promotion setup and tracking in internal systems
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure alignment and execution
• Support adoption of new tools and processes

What You Bring:

Required Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with data to drive decisions
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in retail, merchandising, or promotions
• Familiarity with vendor funding or trade economics
• Experience with reporting or data analysis tools
