Business Analyst

Job Profile
Job Purpose
The Business Analyst will support the analysis, documentation, and delivery of business and system requirements within healthcare and EHR-related platforms. This role involves understanding business processes, analyzing data and workflows, creating requirements documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business processes, workflows, and system requirements to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Support solution design and future-state process development.
- Document business and functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Create and maintain process flows, workflow diagrams, and supporting documentation.
- Analyze data, system integrations, and business rules to support requirements validation.
- Create and manage Jira tickets, ensuring requirements and supporting documents are properly maintained.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, QA teams, and project leads throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validate delivered solutions, and track defects or requirement gaps.
- Assist in monitoring project progress and ensuring alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
Tools / Skills
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Healthcare, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1–4 years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar analytical role.
Technical Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to understand complex business processes, data, and systems.
- Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments.
- Working knowledge of Jira, Visio, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Figma.
- Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Ability to manage evolving requirements and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with EHR systems or healthcare technology.
- Exposure to clinical or healthcare workflows.
- Experience with data analysis, reporting, or business metrics.
- Experience working in regulated or complex business environments.
