Business Analyst

Job Profile

Job Purpose

The Business Analyst will support the analysis, documentation, and delivery of business and system requirements within healthcare and EHR-related platforms. This role involves understanding business processes, analyzing data and workflows, creating requirements documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business processes, workflows, and system requirements to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Support solution design and future-state process development.
  • Document business and functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Create and maintain process flows, workflow diagrams, and supporting documentation.
  • Analyze data, system integrations, and business rules to support requirements validation.
  • Create and manage Jira tickets, ensuring requirements and supporting documents are properly maintained.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, QA teams, and project leads throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validate delivered solutions, and track defects or requirement gaps.
  • Assist in monitoring project progress and ensuring alignment between business needs and technical solutions.

Tools / Skills

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Healthcare, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–4 years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar analytical role.

Technical Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to understand complex business processes, data, and systems.
  • Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments.
  • Working knowledge of Jira, Visio, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Figma.
  • Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Ability to manage evolving requirements and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with EHR systems or healthcare technology.
  • Exposure to clinical or healthcare workflows.
  • Experience with data analysis, reporting, or business metrics.
  • Experience working in regulated or complex business environments.
