About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst with a strong background in digital transformation and a deep understanding of asset-heavy industries such as oil & gas, manufacturing, or utilities. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who excels in analyzing business needs, managing stakeholders, and driving digital initiatives through agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed business analysis to identify opportunities for digital transformation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineering, operations, and business units.
• Gather and document business requirements, user stories, and process flows.
• Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support sprint planning and backlog grooming.
• Ensure strategic alignment of business analysis activities with organizational goals.
• Evaluate and recommend AI-enabled solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Perform market research and competitive analysis to inform business strategies.
• Support change management and training initiatives related to new digital solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or Business.
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years in the digital industry.
• 5+ years of experience in business analysis.
• 3+ years of experience in asset-heavy industries (e.g., oil & gas, utilities, manufacturing).

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Expertise in business analysis and translating insights into actionable requirements.
• Ability to ensure strategic alignment across teams and initiatives.
• Exposure to AI-enabled solutions and data-driven decision making.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a high degree of autonomy.
