Business Analyst / Tester

The Business Analyst / Tester will be responsible for gathering the requirements and ensuring quality assurance during the implementation of Escrow Management System in the Bank. The BA/Tester works as part of the delivery team to document the detailed requirements using user journeys and user stories by engaging with business SMEs, developers and the product owner. The BA/ Tester is also responsible for developing User Acceptance Test (UAT) strategy and creating test scenarios and test cases based on business requirements and user Journeys and user stories. This role also demands the execution of the test cases and communicating the test results to internal and external stakeholders and to maintain direct relationships with SMEs and project teams.

Qualifications & Experience

 Minimum 2 years of dedicated experience in implementation of Escrow Management system.

 Must have experience in Real Estate Escrow Implementation for UAE banks.

 Must have experience in documenting user journeys and user stories.

 Must have understanding of Transaction Banking products and channels.

 Must have experience of testing end-to-end Escrow system

 Experience in working on corporate banking channels would be an added advantage

Key Accountabilities

  • Define, analyze, and validate business requirements for the Escrow Management System, ensuring alignment with regulatory, operational, and customer transparency objectives.
  • Collaborate with business SMEs, product owners, end users, and vendors to capture requirements using user journeys, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support agile delivery by contributing to backlog refinement, prioritization, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Assist in elaboration and continuous refinement of user stories and functional requirements to enable accurate development and testing.
  • Prepare detailed test scenarios, test cases, UAT scripts, and supporting documentation based on approved business requirements.
  • Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) against signed-off requirements, including identification, preparation, and validation of test data.
  • Analyze, track, and report test results, defects, and key risks to relevant stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
  • Validate “to-be” business processes during UAT and support updates to process documentation in line with implemented solutions.
  • Highlight critical issues, gaps, and dependencies impacting solution readiness and product sign-off.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on escrow-related processes and controls to the assigned scrum team to ensure quality and compliance.
