Senior Business Analyst, APM UAE

Key Accountabilities

  • This function requires broad knowledge of Core banking platform (T24, TI Plus etc.) to resolve critical and strategic business challenges.
  • The individual should have adequate knowledge of Banking products and processes.
  • The team member would be responsible for adherence to Service Level Agreements.
  • The individual has to perform advanced troubleshooting at functional level, using his/her domain knowledge, analytical skills and relevant expertise, he/she will have to identify if the parameter change will impact any other peripheral system
  • Agility to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
  • The individual should have a good working knowledge of MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to develop and contribute to Continuous Service Improvement initiatives and documentation of best practices and enhancements
  • Work closely with Application Operation Team, Business Solutioning Group and Development team to deploy, troubleshoot.
  • Takes initiative and provides suggestions to exceed/ achieve results for self and team.

Job Context

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose parameter related issues in Core Banking and other Applications.
  • Be a mentor and coach for assigned Associate Analyst in the team.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the issues and problems raised and proposes viable solutions within the acceptable scope.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of current practice within own area of expertise.
  • Work with business users, IT business and technical support teams and vendors, monitor and report on the progress of required tasks and maintain an emphasis on the early identification and, rectification of problems.
  • Provide exceptional customer service that increases the current customer satisfaction levels.
  • Maintain documentation of existing systems and processes
  • Conform to IT and bank policy and procedures.
  • Strives to learn the job functions of the position’s immediate superior as well as peer-level positions with whom the individual interacts. It is the responsibility of the individual to prepare for temporary re-assignment and/or promotion due to extended illness, personal emergency or business necessity.

Minimum Qualification

  • A University degree in Computer Science and/or equivalent experience.

Minimum Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of overall experience in technical or parameter configuration, banking experience is an added advantage.
