Business Development

Job description

Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The role involves market research, proposal preparation, client meetings, and supporting the company’s strategic expansion goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and potential clients
  • Generate leads through networking, cold calls, emails, and meetings
  • Prepare and submit proposals, quotations, and tender documents
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure repeat business
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and new opportunities
  • Coordinate with technical, operations, and finance teams to prepare competitive offers
  • Attend meetings, site visits, and industry events
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
  • Prepare weekly and monthly business development reports
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing
  • Experience in construction/engineering sector (preferred, if applicable)
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build long-term client relationships
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Valid driving license (if required)

Job Type: Full-time
