About Accounts Automated

Accounts Automated is a rapidly growing Australian-backed accounting, bookkeeping, and outsourcing firm providing cloud-based financial services to clients across Australia, New Zealand, and globally. We specialize in end-to-end outsourced accounting solutions using platforms like Xero, QuickBooks, and MYOB, and are expanding our business development and global sales function. We are seeking a Business Development Assistant to support our sales pipeline, lead generation, Upwork outreach, proposal writing, and CRM tracking. This role is ideal for fresh BBA/MBA graduates who want hands-on exposure to international business development, digital sales, and client acquisition.

You will work closely with the Founder, Business Development Manager, and senior leadership to identify prospects, prepare proposals, and contribute to client onboarding. You will gain first-hand exposure to international markets and growth strategy execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Search and apply for relevant jobs and RFPs on Upwork, LinkedIn, Fiverr, and Freelancer.com
  • Assist in drafting, customizing, and submitting proposals for international clients
  • Maintain lead tracking systems / CRM and update status, follow-ups, and conversions
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis
  • Draft introductory emails, outreach messages, and onboarding documents
  • Support in scheduling discovery calls, coordinating calendars, and managing client communication
  • Help create simple pitch decks, sales presentations, and templates
  • Monitor lead conversions and performance KPIs
  • Support social media posting and content coordination for Accounts Automated (preferred)

Qualifications & Skills Required

✔ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
✔ Excellent English communication (written & spoken)
✔ Strong attention to detail and proposal writing capability
✔ Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Preferred but not required:

  • Experience with Upwork, LinkedIn B2B outreach, Fiverr or other lead channels
  • Familiarity with ClickUp, Trello, Calendly, HubSpot, Canva or CRM tools
