Sponsorship Manager – Events & Partnerships (Startup Ecosystem)
Location: Mumbai (On-site, 6 days/week)
Experience: 2–5 Years
CTC: ₹12–15 LPA
We are hiring a Sponsorship Manager to lead sponsor acquisition and relationship management for large-scale startup and business events. This role combines business development, client servicing, and event execution. The ideal candidate is confident in pitching, closing deals, and managing sponsors end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and acquire sponsors aligned with event themes and audiences
- Create sponsorship decks, proposals, and customized pitches
- Lead negotiations and close sponsorship deals
- Manage sponsor relationships before, during, and after events
- Ensure execution of sponsor deliverables (branding, booths, speaking slots, digital exposure)
- Coordinate with marketing, design, and event teams
- Prepare post-event reports and ROI presentations
- Build long-term partnerships with sponsors
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in sponsorship sales / partnerships / business development / events sales
- Proven experience in acquiring sponsors and closing deals
- Experience creating sponsorship proposals and pitching to clients
- Experience managing sponsor engagement throughout events
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Willing to work 6 days from Mumbai office
Preferred
- Experience in the events industry
- Exposure to startup ecosystem or conference/event sponsorships
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to ₹1,600,000.00 per year
