Business Development Associate

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Upwork Bidder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating business through Upwork by identifying relevant projects, writing strong proposals, communicating with clients, and helping secure new contracts. The candidate should understand client requirements clearly and coordinate with the technical or project team to close deals effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Search for relevant jobs on Upwork on a daily basis
• Submit customized and persuasive proposals to potential clients
• Understand client requirements and prepare effective bidding strategies
• Communicate with clients through chat, messages, and calls when needed
• Negotiate project terms, pricing, and timelines professionally
• Maintain a record of bids, responses, and project conversions
• Work closely with internal teams to understand service offerings and project capabilities
• Build long-term client relationships for repeat business
• Achieve monthly bidding and conversion targets

Required Skills:

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Proven experience in bidding on Upwork or similar freelance platforms
• Good understanding of proposal writing and sales techniques
• Ability to understand IT, design, development, or digital service requirements
• Strong negotiation and client-handling skills
• Organized, self-motivated, and target-oriented
• Knowledge of lead generation and online business development

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field
• Experience with Upwork profile management and boosting strategies
• Familiarity with CRM tools, spreadsheets, and reporting
• Experience working with software houses, agencies, or freelance teams

Experience:

• 1 to 3+ years of experience in Upwork bidding, freelance lead generation, or online sales

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs70,000.00 per month
