Job Summary
The Business Development Associate supports IECC’s growth by identifying opportunities, supporting proposal development, managing the sales pipeline, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners.
Job Description

Conduct market research to identify potential clients, sectors, and partnership opportunities.

Map funding calls, grants, and consortium opportunities aligned with IECC focus areas.

Prepare briefs and background research to support business case development.

Support preparation of technical and financial proposals.

Draft presentations, pitch decks, and sales materials.
-
Track proposal submissions and follow-ups.

Maintain CRM and sales pipeline records.
-
Support preparation of quotations and commercial offers.
-
Assist in client meetings and prepare meeting minutes and follow-ups.

Coordinate with internal technical teams to clarify client requirements.

Support onboarding of new partners and clients.
-
Monitor client satisfaction and gather feedback.
-
Support outreach to industry, research centers, and ecosystem partners.

Help organize partnership meetings and networking events.

Assist in promoting IECC services to NU faculty and research centers.

Prepare weekly pipeline and opportunity reports.
-
Track KPIs related to leads, proposals, and partnerships.
-
Support ROI tracking for BD activities.
Job Requirements
-
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Innovation Management, Engineering, or a related technical field.

0–3 years of experience in business development, consulting, startups, innovation, or related fields.

Excellent command of English Language.

Familiarity with grant writing, funding proposals, and investment negotiations.

Familiarity with proposal writing, CRM tools

Strong persuasive communication and storytelling skills for pitching business opportunities.

Excellent Negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Excellent planning, organizing, follow-up discipline, and work management.

Strong network-building skills with research institutions and tech providers.
-
Basic Knowledge or Exposure to deep-tech sectors such as AI, IoT, biotech, renewable energy, or manufacturing.

Knowledge of industry trends in Egypt, MENA, and global markets.

Strategic mindset, with the ability to analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, and develop actionable plans.
