Business Development Consultant

Role Purpose

To generate and secure new business for a Quantity Surveying and Cost Consultancy firm in Saudi Arabia. The role is focused on identifying opportunities, approaching clients, negotiating consultancy fees, and closing service agreements.

This is a revenue-driven position.


Key Responsibilities


Business Generation

  • Identify new project opportunities within the Saudi construction and infrastructure sectors.
  • Approach developers, contractors, and project owners directly.
  • Generate qualified leads and convert them into signed consultancy agreements.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.


Client Acquisition

  • Conduct client meetings and commercial discussions.
  • Present company services (Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Commercial Advisory).
  • Negotiate fees and finalize consultancy contracts.
  • Follow up consistently until deal closure.


Market Intelligence

  • Track upcoming projects and tender announcements.
  • Monitor competitor activity and pricing trends.
  • Provide clear reporting on pipeline, prospects, and secured revenue.


Requirements

  • Saudi National.
  • 4–7 years’ experience in business development within construction, engineering consultancy, or professional services.
  • Proven track record of closing consultancy/service contracts.
  • Strong network within the Saudi construction market.
  • Strong negotiation and commercial skills.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English.
  • Target-driven and results-oriented.
