Business Development Engineer (Tendering)

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Manager – Business Development / Tender Management to support growth initiatives across Pakistan’s energy and power sector. The role involves leading business development efforts and managing end-to-end tendering activities with major public and private sector organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business development and tendering activities with NTDC, DISCOs, PEPCO, and other energy-sector entities
  • Manage the complete tender lifecycle from opportunity identification to final submission
  • Prepare, review, and submit technical and techno-commercial proposals
  • Ensure compliance with government procurement rules, technical standards, and specifications
  • Coordinate with engineering, finance, and cross-functional teams to develop competitive bids
  • Analyze tender requirements and develop effective bidding strategies
  • Support tender evaluations and improve bid success rates
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering

(MBA or Business degree is a plus)

  • 4–6 years of hands-on experience in business development, tendering, or proposal management within the power/energy sector
  • Strong understanding of power sector procurement processes and techno-commercial evaluations
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tenders independently under tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and coordination skills

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs180,000.00 per month
