Business Development Executive

Key Responsibilities

  • Search for and identify relevant projects on Upwork and other freelance platforms.
  • Write customized, persuasive, and professional proposals tailored to client needs.
  • Maintain regular follow-ups with potential clients to close deals.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to gather accurate project requirements for proposals.
  • Manage client communications and ensure timely responses to inquiries.
  • Track bidding performance and suggest improvements to increase win rate.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Proven experience in Upwork bidding or similar platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong understanding of IT services, web development, mobile apps, or digital marketing projects.
  • Ability to write engaging, clear, and professional proposals.
  • Good negotiation skills and ability to handle client objections.
  • Familiarity with lead generation, sales funnels, and client relationship management.
