Business Development Executive

We are a leading freight forwarding company based in the United States, seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team in our Dubai branch. If you have a proven track record of sales growth, a strong client portfolio, and a passion for driving business expansion in the logistics sector, we want to hear from you.

Important Note: Only Candidates with Freight Forwarding Experience will be considered. Please do not apply if you do not have past Sales Experience in Freight Forwarding Industry.

Job Description:

As our Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships. You will leverage your competitive sales and marketing skills to expand our market presence, achieve revenue targets, and contribute to the company’s long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed business development targets within the freight forwarding industry.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and targeted prospecting.

Build and maintain a robust client portfolio, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.

Negotiate contracts and pricing structures to maximize profitability for both the company and clients.

Collaborate with internal teams (operations, marketing, finance) to ensure seamless service delivery and client onboarding.

Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats, adapting strategies as needed.

Maintain and update sales reports, pipeline analysis, and performance metrics to track progress and inform decision-making.

Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven track record of sales growth and a strong, existing client portfolio in the freight forwarding or logistics industry.

2 to 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within freight forwarding industry.

Exceptional sales and marketing skills, with the ability to develop and execute effective strategies.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with a focus on building and maintaining client relationships.

Valid driving license and own car for client meetings, site visits, and business travel.

Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.

Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Willingness to travel as required.

Knowledge of Arabic language is a plus.
