Job title: Business Development Executive

Reports to: Business Development Manager

Job geographic scope: United Arab Emirates

Base location: Abu Dhabi

Job Purpose:

The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, strengthening market presence, and supporting subsidiaries in securing strategic partnerships. The role involves client-facing activities, market research, pipeline management, and coordination with internal teams to achieve business growth targets.

Key Responsibilities

Business Opportunity Development

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities aligned with the company’s BD strategic direction.
  • Support subsidiaries in exploring and unlocking potential revenue streams.

Client Engagement & Field Activities

  • Conduct daily field visits with subsidiaries to meet prospective clients and partners.
  • Participate in client meetings, product demonstrations, and opportunity presentations.

Market Analysis & Reporting

  • Perform market research, field surveys, and competitor analysis as required.
  • Prepare detailed visit reports and update the BD pipeline on a daily basis.

Proposal & Documentation Follow-Up

  • Follow up with clients on proposals, quotations, required documents, and next steps.
  • Assist subsidiaries in preparing and delivering high-quality submissions.

Relationship Building

  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key stakeholders across government, semi-government, and private sector entities.

Performance Alignment & Coordination

  • Coordinate with BD Management to set weekly targets and ensure achievement of assigned KPIs.
  • Provide feedback and insights to support continuous improvement in BD initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in business development, sales, or client relations.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to conduct field visits and represent the company professionally.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM or pipeline management tools.
  • Valid UAE driving license (if field visits are mandatory).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with government or semi-government clients.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a target-driven environment.
