Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Business Development Executive with strong technical understanding and commercial acumen to drive business growth. The role requires an individual capable of developing new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and promoting chemical actives through consultative selling. The ideal candidate will combine technical knowledge of cosmetics raw material with sales and market development capability, enabling sustainable revenue growth and long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive business development initiatives by identifying, developing, and converting new opportunities within the Cosmetics Industry and Home Care.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue objectives in line with company growth plans.
- Promote and position raw material to cosmetics and home care manufacturers through technical discussions and solution-based selling.
- Conduct regular client visits to understand formulation requirements, application challenges, and commercial expectations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with formulators, procurement teams, and key decision-makers.
- Support customers with technical product information, application guidance, and coordination with principals where required.
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and emerging industry needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to support management decision-making.
- Execute any other duties as assigned by management in alignment with departmental functions and business objectives.
Job Specification:
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry or Applied Chemistry or a related discipline (highly preferred due to the technical nature of the role).
OR
BBA / MBA (Sales / Marketing) with relevant experience in chemical or technical sales may also be considered.
- Comfortable in commuting to the client's office on own.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or technical sales within the chemical industry.
- Exposure to personal care, home care will be considered a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and expand customer portfolios
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills
- Technical understanding of personnel care actives like whitening agent , anti-wrinkle, anti-pollution and applications
- Client relationship management and consultative selling approach
- Result-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs90,000.00 per month
