Business Development Executive - E commerce
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business development activities for the e-commerce platform
- Identify and onboard new sellers, brands, and business partners for the e-commerce platform
- Pitch the platform’s services and commercial model to potential clients
- Negotiate commercial terms and sign contracts/agreements with partners
- Drive business growth by acquiring new accounts and increasing platform listings
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new sellers
- Maintain strong relationships with existing partners for repeat business
- Track leads, deals closed, and report business performance to management
- Monitor market trends and competitor platforms to identify new opportunities
Requirements:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or e-commerce platforms
- Strong negotiation and contract-closing skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Experience handling B2B clients, vendors, or brands
- Ability to work independently and meet targets
- Knowledge of online marketplaces, digital sales, or vendor onboarding is an advantage
